So, there is a new Mortal Kombat game on the way after all, despite that "Rebirth" trailer having nothing to do with it. This sequel is being developed by NetherRealm Studios (comprised of Midway alumni) and will be released on Q4 2010 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You know what? It looks awesome.

this looks like they are going back to the good old days of just fighting ionstead of stupid shit like, weapons and stances... looks like it could be as good as MKII from back in the day... cant wait

This really makes me angry, i have been hanging out for this game and now this, pollies need to pull there finger out and give us an R18+ rating

PS3 games are region free. So you can get it anywhere.
But the publishers of Mortal Kombat have re-submitted the game for another review (not having changed anything) so there is still a chance we may see it in all its glory.

Ditto, banning games just increases piracy. Making us wait longer for releases increases piracy. In fact almost all the shit they do increases piracy yet we are to blame.
