Nintendo are making the most of the E3 2010 expo in LA, revealing everything but Miamoto's kitchen sink - which is probably quite extravagant. The upcoming 3D handheld, the 3DS, sports a 3.5 inch widescreen DS Lite-sized touch screen, four buttons, a D-Pad, a motion sensor, a gyro sensor and a real analogue stick.
Expect to soon be playing Guitar Hero, Ridge Racer, Metal Gear Solid and the just-revealed Mario Kart 3DS on the train, or in the toilet, in 3D. Awesomely, keeping in tune with the 3D approach of the device, you can even take photos in 3D, and then view them in 3D. But that's not all; the tiny unit will also be capable of playing 3D movies!
The big N has also officially announced a brand new Wii Donkey Kong game titled Donkey Kong Country Returns, out this Christmas, which will deliver the classic platform gameplay seen in Donkey Kong Country on the SNES.
The most exciting Wii release announced, bar Goldeneye of course, is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, which introduces full and accurate motion control with the Wii MotionPlus accessory. Oh, and it's in 3D.
