StarCraft II launch parties tonight, everywhere?

[Attachment 7232] A couple of weeks ago we reported that EB Games were doing midnight launch parties along Australia's East coast, at their Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne flagship stores. Well it turns out it might be a whole lot bigger, and further reaching than first anticipated - even Darwin.

Forum member Aegis just got off the phone with his local EB Games in Palmerston, who are also doing the midnight launch. Head on over to the EB Games StarCraft II Midnight Launch website to double check your city, and if it's not listed, give your local store a call and report back!

You might even see a member of the StarCraft II dev team there - StarCraft II Producer, Kaeo Milker, is confirmed to be attending in Brisbane.

I've already downloaded the digital distribution versions of the Southeast Asia client, and North America client. Now just to wait for unlock.

I might still head down to the launch party anyway, to have a looksie. Depends how I tired I feel later this evening.

I just got a call from EB palmerston - sounds like every single one of their stores is doing a midnight launch tonight. looks like a late night for me :)

Same man - i've got a 5am start for work too =p

Apparently the Jape store isn't open tonight, so if you were planning to head there, keep going to caz instead.

Heading down to the launch party in King George Square now - will be sure to try and get some footage of the festivities and Q&A with producer, Kaeo Milker. The EB Games is taking pre-orders until 11:30pm, then it closes in preparation for the big shebang at midnight.
