[Attachment 7542] Update: It turns out that the next Command & Conquer is not being handled by Visceral Games, contrary to reports earlier in the week. Unfortunately for nostalgic Command & Conquer fans, you're in for more of the same. It has been confirmed by Game Informer that the next title is already in development at the same studio that brought us C&C4; EA LA. Dang.
It doesn't seem like the best fit, but then again, Command & Conquer has sucked lately - so perhaps employing the aid of Visceral Games, creator of Dead Space, isn't the worst idea EA have had. Electronic Arts senior vice president, Nick Earl, tells Gamasutra that future installments of the Command & Conquer franchise, and others that are "pretty far off", will be put in Visceral Games basket for development.
