[Attachment 8764]Sony's forthcoming free to play massively multiplayer first person shooter, PlanetSide 2, is now taking applications for beta participation. Head on over to the shiny new PlanetSide 2 website and find the sign-up link in the right column. As for the release date, SOE's John Smedley commented "when it's ready and we are proud of it," but it's expected early 2012.
