It takes an old man with lots of money to decide they want a 36 by 30 metre shed built on their farm just so they can sell a couple of horses in the shade. 25 thousand dolars worth of steel later and a weeks worth of weilding\construction and were ready to start moving the trusts. Any way here is a pic of it during transit :) (the ppl didnt need to be standing there they just wanted to for fun) (aslo in the first* pic we were lowering it, the ends of the trusts will go on the ends of the posts, so it will be ~8M tall) Tomorrow we are putting up three of the total 7 trusts and attaching the purlins so it should take some visible shape. I should get some time to take a few pics of the progress to post here

Milenko, nothing to do with this post - but if u and yer friends like ICP - you know their is new single out? I stacked them into like 13 or 14 in the singles charts at Trax, Casuarina the other day. I think it's off their new album. I gots Great Milenko and Jeckel Bro's, and if u follow the story of ICP - this album is gonna be the one where the world ends :)

The property is 270Km from darwin This is what it looks like with two trusts up, couldnt get 3 cause we ran out of time Tomorrow, we should be able to get it, and the purlings on.
Oh, and btw no one here has ever built a shed let alone one soo big so for the moment everything is theory :)
HOLY SHIT :shock: I had to climb up that truss carrying one end of 12 metre ~80Kg purling - the trusts only have ropes holding it up\together so thewobbles\swings several feet.
It sorta safe but extreemly scary, im adicted to the adrenalin rush, ill be back up there this arvo doing the other side. Som ppl cant take it though, one of the other workers got sick and couldnt stay up there. I have new found respect for construction builders.
We have a proper builder paying us a visit lator tonight to have a look at what were doing, and ill probably get more pics
