I know I've been out and about, but could someone please explain. Sabaki has emerged but how does this tie in with the good work that OD did for OCTA/Gamers etc. BTW *bump* where are you old man :-).
Does everyone just default to Sabaki nowadays ? I see a lot of guys running around though some of the goold ol stalwarts aren't on there, and it isn't as much fun without sledging them.

Octa 4 --> now Gamers-Underground, which is apart of the Ozfroces network.
Sabaki is just another "server" on the Ozforces network (not sure how they relate to GU) I think it was just cos the folk who run Sabaki are GU people.
Sabaki is used a lot recently due to GU being invaded by some people, which was caused due to a cock that some ozforces person did while OD was/is busy sorting out his adventure of moving back up to Darwin :wink:
When OD has time, GU will be made GU again, Sabaki will continue as it is.

Dan and myself have been extremely busy in recent times, as many of you know we've both moved back to the NT for work (with each other coincidentally).
Revamping GU has been on our agenda for quite some time now, it was just a matter of making the time to do it. Rest assured within the next month myself and Dan will be doing some big things with the website and hopefully the server situation as well. Rest assured things can only get better.

may i ask what do u 2 plan on doing to the site and servers?
u looking at moving the servers to darwin or somehting liek making more ?

Probably means along the lines of a new web site or tweake web site, fixing/modifying servers maybe.
the idea behind Sabaki server and site was and is to have somewhere to play if the octa server was full. however it is developing its self nicely and we are keen to work in with the octa guys should that arise. there are new maps and they are available.. we are NOT saying we competing with anyone it is an alternative and we have to play somewhere :)
I would say there are alot of original octa ppl out there and some playing NS. IT IS NOT ANOTHER OZFORCES SERVER ITS PRIVATE AND BEEN PAID FOR SO WE CAN ENJOY..IF ONLY WE CAN GET SOMEONE TO SHOW US HOW TO SET UP REGISTRATION. GET RID OF THE DROP KICKS TEAM KILLING ETC ETC ETC.
I doubt very much that some people realise that GU people not just the server created agood community and many have become friends over the last couple of years. I like that and so do others so we put our hands in our pockets to make sure we don`t loose contact. we didnt try and get a freebie server or web site so dont say we are just another OZFORCES server please. cheetah! :o
