Yesterday we finished work on our tenth album (eighth studio album) titled "St. Anger." We are looking forward to sharing the new music with the world June 9th in Europe, June 10th everywhere else.
Produced by Bob Rock, the album was recorded at our San Rafael Headquarters. In addition to the eleven tracks on 'St. Anger,' the package will include a free DVD of live rehearsal recordings of all eleven songs, also captured at HQ.

yeah i thought so, metallica just asked nicley to have there songs taken off napster said no metallica threted to sue, napster took metallicas songs off after metallica sued ""FOR NO MONEY"" other band heard about this and sued napster for there songs on napster so metallica were just one of many bands involed but metallica never sued for money!!!!!! napster would have been fined if they just said yes... remember they just wanted there own songs taken off they dident want to shut them down!!!
