A year ago yesterday, Gamers Underground was born. Sqeezed through a narrow pipeline, going live to the world as its curators gazed in excitement.
While most of you here were with us during the early days when OverDrive and myself first started the Gamers @ Octa4 community in early 2000, not many people remember the date we made the transition out of Octa4 and into our own conscious, independance was gained and freedom was ours *triumphant theme music fade-in.
We'd like to thank everyone who has participated over the years for your ongoing and unparalleled support. Any two geeks can throw up a games related forum and server, but it takes great people like all of you to make it actually amount to something, and GU clearly has.
Live long, and prosper (no wait, that's gay).
