ok, question. If for some obscure reason (or even not so obscure), there is someone who needs banning from the wc3 server (say for continual swearing, or cheating, or whatever), if I get a demo, and post in this thread, will someone do something about it and ban them?? Not being an admin, I can't ban them myself, but this would be a good enough alternative.

Yes post a long demo, we will review it, run it through our anti cheat boxes and make a decision.

i hate it tho when admin wannabes come along when i swear (when i get really angry) and saying language smiddy. This is what eventually made me go absolutely bonkers at mongoose. I believe TheOne was there...

Although they cant really take any further action - Id tell someone to watch their language on GU (dont have admin here) - and if they dont Id take screenie and hand to an admin - and probably not see that person again :D

so you have to be an admin to want people to stop swearing so much? this is a new one...as far as I knew everyone had the right to ask someone to stop swearing, but hey, I could just be confused ;)
No ones stopping anyone from swearing, I do all the time. I just have enough respect to keep it in my own area. I don't inflict it on kids and families. Besides it is a realy boring unintelligent way of communicating emotion. Surly you can think of something smart and witty to say as an insult?

my point exactly!!!! (both smiddy's and jono's points - if you annoy someone enough about swearing they'll learn a lesson if they decide to blow up at you)
maybe i should take screenies for when people outright disobey the no swearing rule but right now im just trying to get them to concede/say sorry/etc, sometimes its just venting frustration and i can kinda see their point - i feel like doing it too every now and then (shock! gasp!)
just keep it to urselves and everyone wins :)
