Want to get rid of a MegaDrive Game Streets of Rage as I have another copy on a multi cart. Any offer but a trade for anothet Megadrive cart or Master System cart would be prefered as street value is little.

Cart and box only. No manual as I didn't get one as it was probably ex rental.

OMG.
You still have these consoles?......and play them??

Got Retro? Got Retro Bitch?

Post 3

I liked those games in their time but never owned my own. My parent's always had PCs but for a short time I had a Master System and a Amiga 500 which my stepdad sold to buy me a PC. By chance last year I found a Gameboy Colour on the road side with no clue to the owner and it still worked. I later traded it for a Mega Drive I found at Cash Converters and have built up a collection.

Retro is in!!! Emulation and old school gaming are in. Have u read Games TM? it has a large retro section.. Plus I am building a Old pc to run my pre Windows 95 games.

screw retro and colectors items, save up for a decent PC and HL2, and D# when they come out. wtf is all this shit with people using emulators on Ath3000+ and Rad9800pros. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. they are old games, get over them. sure if they were pc games it wouldnt be so bad, but master systems, mega drives. wtf r u people thinking? and dont go on about that "but it revolutionised gaming" crap or "but its fun". there are "fun" games with graphics that are not even comparable to these old POS, with gameplay that has been finetuned over the last ten years. the only thing i will give u is that story lines in games have left a little to be desired lately, aside from that. GET OVER THIS RETRO CRAP!!!

sry, i had to say that, its been at bursting point for months, this just knocked the top off it and less the hatred flow.

Any serious takers? This is a trading post and not a board for flames and opinions upon classic gaming and bleeding edge gaming for those with too much cash.

Mate

I have a Mega Drive too - still play it rasonably often. the games have lmited value but the concoles dissapear off shelves bloody quickly. I had to buy a replacement once and eventually apid $25 for it from Cashies in Palmerston.

I got mine from Cash Converters in Palmerston by trading a Gameboy colour I found on the side of the road (Ah, the irony....!) It's a model 2 that was built in 1992 and came with the manual, a few games, a master system converter cart.

I have a collection of about 30 games which I found and various second hand deals and they too disapear quickly only leaving no or only sport games or copies of colmuns or MEGA CD games (None of the good ones!).

They are worth at least 20 Pounds in the UK (GAMES TM -UK Verison) along with my mum's game and watch dual LCD game of Donkey Kong (1982). More obsure consoles such as the Sega Saturn (30 pounds= $90!) sand Neo Geo AES (Never released in OZ) fetch about $500.00 Australian and some games such as Metal Slug and Nam 1975 fetch "000-$2000 for the cart (They hold over 700MB!!!)
