Ok some people when they play the deagle maps (deagle warehouse, deagle factory)they like to knife on the bridge. and then there are people who are stupid and shoot the people on the bridge to get e cheap kill.Now this often ends in abusive comments. I was wondering if there was any thing you could do because obviously there was no admin there to kick those people!!

although they could get ban for the language but its not a bannable
offense cause people have their own ways, you cant control a person
in a game 100% i mean you dont even know them properly.
i thought the server says abusive language is not tolerated, and that i've seen people banned for that offence on the black list hmmm.
well if those comments are directed at u, u can prolly take some screenies, give to admins, and see if they wanna do anything. Thats if they continually flame u, i personally dun mind if its just 1 or 2 comments.
i was bein told of earlier for the ocasional fuck and shit, which are beeped out anyway. and it wasnt even directed at any one, ie when i die "fúck me." of course i argued with the admin (well usmone, not even sure if they were admin or not, it was a SB guy, leadrocket). i proceded to be kicked, now i wasnt swearing at anyone, no abusive language, just colourful. sumone will come and say that i was warned, which i was, but cmon, ist be kicked for saying fuck and shit when u die a bit over the top? now what happens if i type lier (which is censored, or bloody, or nuts, or balls, all of which are pretty lame excuses for censoring), i mean wtf is lier, lier as in stare? and it is banned. back to my point, what if i type lier, or ball, or other inocent words and i get kicked for it, not just me, everyone. either the swear filter should be fixed or taken off altogether, then when sumone swears admin have a true reason to ban them.

Yeah i agree to some extent,
i wrote a 4 letter word which was not an offensive word and it censored it

although the admin was not aware of it standind for what it was he though i was sayin somethin along the lines of S*** or F*** or maybe even C***

Yeah sorry, there's not much you can do about that. You've just got to hope people will be fair, and not shoot those on the bridge or wherever. As for abuse and language, when you connect it is said that it is NOT tolerated. Also, anything deemed 'inappropriate' by an Admin.
it's really very easy, if you are on the bridge don't shoot when you are on the bridge and don't shoot people off the bridge. dumbasses keep screaming about knives then shooting me on the ground when they are on the bridge then bitching me out when i bumrush them on the bridge and cap their sorry asses.

If this map being played is a deagle map, I will not and I repeat will not hold back shooting ANYBODY regardless of where U are and what your doing.

yeah i think you should just live with it because its not worth have a cry over if they wanna do that then let them. But if they reply and go crazy and abuse everyone take them done for that the object of the game is to kill people not to decide wether we should do this here or that.
the post was for the people who go on about the "knives only" thing. some idiots were getting all worked up about knifing only on the bridge then shooting people on the ground. just shoot everyone i reckon :)
yeah it happens to me all the time (since i love to knife) as the crazy clan keeps saying "im a wanna be" :lol:
anyway yeah i understand that yeah u cant do anything to anyone who shoots on the bridge when everyone else is knifing.

anyway i think another resolution to this problem is to add 1-3 knife maps to the gu server rotation?? plz someone? cause im sure everyone would love to have fair knife fights. (maps could be cs_knifewar_bridge, ka_knifebeach, de_knife_frenzy, wp_cs_knife_arena, cs_knifedark, cs_knifefest)
also when something like shooting on bridge when everyone agrees to knife only. often i say is "how very honorable of u <his_name>. Everyone wants to klnife on the bridge, so plz dont be cheap, and shoot on ground". i think thats a fair ask, and if the n00b continues, its his choice too, but it is very cheap and n00bish in my book. Sure he can shoot, but its a very cheap kill, why not try out ur skill my havin a fun knife?
But again this problem will be solved if we get some knife maps into the rotation.... my 2cents....

or how about just making instagib a knife map, ( charge the Hostie!!!)...
what annoys me most bout "knifing on the bridge" , is i always seem to get shot by the knifers from the bridge... you try to do the right thing and leave em alone , next thing they shoot you in the back...
best thing in that map is to knife the shooters on the ground, great map for it ( undead or elf ). knifing shooters is way more fun :D
but yeah , we need a knife map...
