I'd just like to restate someone's point that sometimes it doesn't actually make the teams even. At times, PTB switches the best player of the losing team to the winning team, and brings some average player (but with a good score because they're on the winning team) to the losing team.
Idealistically PTB is good, but in practise I don't like various parts of it. A lot of the times, I opt to join the losing team, but I get a WTJ warning.
