ah well the xbox is v1.6 :(

Are there any cheaper alternatives to "30 solderless chips? Ones that are good and work well, im not looking for any special features such as LCD display and shit like that. Also i read somewhere that even solderless chips require a small solder? Or is that just to keep the chip down which can be done other ways?
