Actually, warm beer is a bit misleading.
It's ambient temperature beer, in the cellers. Which is more often than not, the same (or close to the) temperature as your fridge :p

I haven't had a warm pint since I got here. And I've had a lot of pints :p

You exaggerate. Pumped ambient-temp ale in London, despite the cold weather, doesn't quite taste like it has been refrigerated.

But it's at a good temp. Dark beer typically shouldn't be served below cellar temp anyway. Unless you'd rather mask the flavor with a chilly sharpness.

Erdinger is at almost every London pub, and it's refrigerated. As is Leffe Blonde and Fosters.

PS. This is not an endorsement of British ale. Most of it tastes one-track at any temperature.

Point being, the beer isn't warm.
The non-refrigerated (which is served at my new local), is quite cold.

Fair enough; it certainly is not 'warm'.
