Counter Strike Issue

Hello fellow gamers. I just wanna ask quick, if it is possible to change the sprites(to get other colours etc.) to the sky's in CS 1.6, and if so, would this crack up the game in any way?

the sky is based on how the map was created mate, you can modify the maps to change the textures used for the sky's.
there are plenty of defaults and at the same time, if you know how you can create your own.

Its been years since i looked at 1.6 maps but from memory its not too hard, should be able to find tutorials online somehere, youtube would be a good place to start, where i got my vids for Source SDK.
