How do I open the console?
+set com_allowConsole 1 (in Launch Commands for RAGE in Steam)

How do I change the graphics settings so they're not low res poo:
- create "rageconfig.cfg" in \Steam\steamapps\common\rage\base
- Add these lines:
vt_pageimagesizeuniquediffuseonly2 8192
vt_pageimagesizeuniquediffuseonly 8192
vt_pageimagesizeunique 8192

How do I turn off mouse smoothing?
m_smooth 0 in console (or in that config we setup above)

The screan tearing is awful. How do I turn on vsync?
Throw +r_swapInterval 1 into the Launch Commands for RAGE in Steam.

How do I increase my FOV (field of vision)?
Use cvaradd g_fov 10 (10 is the amount added to the base 80 FOV)

its amazing that after years and years of making games the majority of DEVS still dont add an option in game to modify FOV, or V-sync.

FOV is understandable as it can greatly impact performance - typically the more you see, the slower the game runs. They need to test the game a certain way, and deliver min/recommended specs based on that.

Most games do include options for vsync. Just not console ports like this.

i'm still getting alot of texture popping, performance is good and looks great but ridiculous amounts of popping.

I love the fact we have reached the point in computer history where a game tweak thread contains a sentence "If your processor has few cores..."

Pretty amazing looking game though. I wasn't expecting such a cinematic intro either.
