BioWare has revealed not just a single player demo, scheduled for January 2012, but an accompanying multiplayer beta! For those that aren't aware, Mass Effect 3 ships with an online co-op mode titled Galaxy at War. No specific platforms for either have been confirmed apart from PC, but what we do know is that you'll find early access in new copies of Battlefield 3.

The wait is over, unless you illegally acquired the leaked beta, in which case yours was over a little while ago. For the rest of us law abiding citizens, EA have now made the official Crysis 2 demo available to download! If you're an Xbox 360 owner, simply mosey on over to the Marketplace. For PC gamers, choose your mirror below. And if you're a PS3 owner, twiddle your thumbs for approximately a fortnight. Oh, and don't forget to check out the embedded multiplayer trailer...

The keenly anticipated Dragon Age 2 demo is now available for all major platforms; Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and indeed PC. You can download the PC demo right now from BioWare's official site, weighing in at just under 2GB. The full game is due for an Australian release on the 10th of March....

Crysis 2, due for release on March 25, has been confirmed to deliver a PC demo. Crytek broke the news on Twitter yesterday; "At this time, Crytek & EA are glad to confirm that we'll be releasing a pre-launch Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on PC! Stay tuned for details". For those with an Xbox 360, the Crysis 2 demo arrived in the Marketplace on Tuesday, so get onto it!...

At some stage over the next twelve-or-so hours, the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Store will be graced with a demo of EA Sport's forthcoming World Cup iteration of their ever-bettering FIFA franchise.

You'll have the opportunity to try out FIFA's new two-button control scheme, which means you can get your Grandfather or an equally inexperienced player into the mix with the smallest of learning curves. More impressively is their intelligently re-worked penalty kicks system which you can see at our YouTube channel....

I wasn't alone with my Aliens vs Predator demo disappointment. Rebellion got the message loud and clear, unfortunately, they just don't see eye-to-eye with their fans.

Haven't tried the Aliens vs Predator demo yet? After my rather negative review, I wouldn't blame you. But, maybe now's the time. Sega has distributed a press release, apologising for the appauling match-making service quirks - you know, like simply not being able to find a game. They're insisting that unprecedented and unexpected demand was the source of the problems......

Around about 12 hours ago I posted of Aliens vs Predator's imminent demo release at some stage today. Aegis, GU forum member, points out that it's now on Steam, ready to download. What are you waiting for? Get on it!

The Playstation Network has followed hot on the heels of the Xbox 360, with DICE announcing the availability of the demo for download. While I'm sure most of the readers here would rather play a BC2 demo on the PC, and indeed the final game on the PC, this news does signal something for us to get excited about.....

Rumors hit the internet not longer than 12 hours ago, but now we have confirmation. An Aliens vs Predator multiplayer demo is set for release on Xbox Live, Steam and PSN within an approximate 24 hours of now. It's a multiplayer demo, and will grant access to all three species - the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien. Somewhat unfortunately is that the only mode will be vanilla Deathmatch, on Refinery, one of the game's multiplayer maps......

Surprise is the key word. DICE have sent word via their official Twitter channel that the Xbox 360 multiplayer demo is available, right now, on the Xbox Live Marketplace; "Surprise Reveal: Xbox 360 Battlefield Bad Company 2 MP Demo is live on Xbox Marketplace! Go get it!!!!!!!" Now, if only the next 7 hours would hurry along so we could get our PC beta clients downloading....
