We've all seen the specs and read about the features, but already there's some Next Generation Portable footage that's going to get you really excited. And that's seeing Uncharted demonstrated on the device, with glorious visuals and a bunch of new and interesting ways to interact with the game - such as using its touch screen, and back-facing touch pads....

The PSP2 is real, and now it's official. At a Tokyo event today the new handheld, with the apparent power of a PlayStation 3, was revealed. Code-named the NGP, or Next Generation Portable, it boasts a higher resolution screen, dual-analogue sticks, as well as front and back facing cameras. But that's just the tip of the iceberg, with the event delivering pictures, tech-specs and a heap of new information for you to salivate over......

A while ago we reported on the rumored PlayStation branded Sony Ericsson phone, complete with a concept image. Well it turns out that was scarily accurate. Now though, we also have some specs for you: inside you will find a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, 512MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM.

As previously disclosed, the device is said to run Android 3.0 and sport a unique Sony Marketplace allowing you to buy and download games, which may or may not be the same system and titles you can download for the PSP Go. This is strictly still a prototype model, but that's where we're at. And it's easily the most exciting mobile phone, handheld games system hybrid in, well, ever....
