Steam and CS 1.6

ok here is the deal

I just downloaded Steam (CS only) file and installed it all and now when i try to run it on HL or CS to see the new 1.6 when i run my cursor over to options or new game and such it just seams to crash out for no reason.

luckily i chose not to remove all stuff so i can still play 1.5 but if anyone can help me with my problem could you either post a reply or pm or email me with solution to why steam is stuffing up my games..... please help me!!!! :cry:

its steam.... try reinstall... everyone has problems with it at the moment..

i have done a reinstall and it is still glitching the same way.... might try to redownload from different source when i can find time to see if that is the problem...

I had similar issues ...

Solution - reformat disk and reinstall windows then Steam 1.6 - working a treat now.

i had that prob, totally uninstalled and reinstalled, didnt work, uninstalled, reinstalled on my other HDD, works fine ever since

ok problem solved, just updated all my windows stuff and dwnloaded the full steam program... so if any moderaters wanna delete this topic go for it :P

dont delete, people might need it later on for reference :)

my steam works good, i have no problems.

i am totally ok with steam :) i think CS 1.6 woops completely over 1.5..

Agreed, I have only had the keyboard bug, but thats fixed :)

Easiest game I ever installed :D
