I thought that "Anime", as a word, was both singular and plural. Like "sheep": A sheep, 6 sheep. Similarly, an anime, some anime, my anime, your anime, the anime, 6 videos of anime.

Hmmmm. 6 animes?.

I guess we need a linguist/japanese speaker to sort this out.

Hellsing is definately one of my favorites of all time
I still listen to both OSTs, the music owns :)

I didnt like naruto much... dont know why, its just one of these things that you cant describe about why you hate a certain anime but not a similar one. I hate tokyo underground aswell... maybe its just their shallowness and not real originality (although naruto is better, TU was just a piece of shit in my opinion)

However i'm thinking of watching more naruto eps cause I remembered the one where they have to get the bells of their teacher, that one owned but the next few episodes were kind of boring, reminded me of dragon ball z :?

Best thing about Hellsing it's short and succinct. Doesn't drag on for years. Although there's absolutely nothing wrong with GTO and rurouni Kenshin of course.

Heh, yah I would call it a dragonball z but with shorter drag and better climax. The storyline is classic but... who would have thought of such a cool thing. It is nowhere near the coolness of everything else... its an overly dragged out series that just plain sux... I give them some credit for storyline but thats about it

the secret to dragonballz/gt is to watch it on the on PC so you can fastforword the slow bits like the hours of evil manical laghter of the bad guys and the procrastination before each fight
that way you only have to watch a few minutes of each episode :wink:

Ruroni Kenshin - Himura Kenshin.

Main character of some of the finest semi-historical Anime ever made.

The Kyoto Saga, in particular is f*cking brilliant. The fight scenes set the grade for all anime, and I've yet to see better.

So good that I sat through the whole of Kill Bill thinking "nah, Kenshin'd beat her easily", or "Hell, Saitoh could do it even more quickly, the cruel bastard".

I was not as happy with the Oh, My Goddess DVD's - They are just the OVA's and I wanted the TV series.

Lol mordin last DGA you had it so people could view your stuff spend time finding what they wanted and then suddenly find out they can't take it. Thats just evil.

Tip: dont buy Kai Koh Maru.

Unless you are into really strange anime that makes no sense and just is plain annoying.

Sif had a look at that before but got Jin-Roh Wolves in Human Armor instead which is damn cool.

Last DGA was annoying, i was on the switch that was very badly connected to the rest of the network, and i was sharing some things, but burgers was the only person to get something off me cause he brought his laptop over to my table :P

Anyway i WILL be sharing next dga through FTP and i'll post a little later on the addy ( after i get an ftp serv program that is ).

And i'll have an upload dir for anyone nice enough to upload anything that i dont have :)

And PM any series that you want and i dont have, i should still be able to get them before DGA.

There is no limit on anonymous users, but there is a bandwidth cap, although it wont be small, it will be smaller than any unique login's.
There IS a limit on the anonymous logons per ip, not sure what to limit this to yet, but most likely 1 or 2.

There is an uploads folder for all you nice people to upload too :P
I'll give unique logins to select people ie: people who upload! They will have a (much?) higher bandwidth cap but only allow 1 login at once.

robotech, that is a classic. sure its all soppy with a love story and all, but it is hilarious in some bits and has some damn cool space battles. but after the 1st series (first 36 episodes) i lost interest.

o yeah, im no huge anime fan, a mate just told me to download sum and i the bloody thing dragged me in and i had to find out how it finished.

Can someone tell me if Steel Angel Kurumi is any good, ie the sotryline good or crap. Thinking of buying, Have seen one ep but don't want to wreck the story for myself if i buy it.
