Swiftel plan on delivering thier service to the NT in Feb. That's another good isp to keep an eye on.

100 bucks per month for 1500/256 12gig plan!!!. Uploads free, only $6 per excess gig. To put that into perspective, that Westnet charge $60 for each excess gig. Which is about the norm for most isp's.

edit - Shit, after doing some more reading about swiftel they would have to be the best adsl isp in OZ atm  . The only thing they lack is free game servers and d/l mirrors. In the next 6 months though they plan on making all thier game servers free plus setting up more servers for games and adding in d/l mirrors. Also, P2P within your state is free which prolly aint that great for NT :/. Go to Whirlpool forums as well and you'd be hard pressed to find one bad thing said about Swiftel. Come Feb I think I might change from internode to swiftel...they look pretty sweet.

Well when they do come i'll be getting this plan...

DA 1500/4gb 4 GB $6 /GB Free Static $70 /mo

;)

hmm it'd be tempting to change.. depends on 'setup' or 'connection' fee for me... i've only just got over the "39 from internode last month :D

Post 7

I think if Internode support churn then with swiftel it's a connection fee of $50. Just transfers you over to swiftel instead of doing the whole installation thing again.

Not sure if Internode support churn.

I don't have any complaints with internode, they rock. Although for what im paying with internode I could get a 1500/256 connection speed and an extra 4gig a month with swiftel. Plus, swiftel have EXTREMELY low excess usage charges. Not that I would probably go over 12gig a month but just nice to know that if I do want to go over by alittle it'll only cost a couple bucks not 20+ bucks. That kind of stuff makes it tempting to make the change even though I have no complaints with internode.

Swiftel were a joke when they first started IIRC.

may have cleaned up their act though.
