Its either that or a stock hood with shite vinyls (and honestly, the variety of hood vinyls are very lax).
Have a go at our cars if you want, but at least have a go at doing it yourself before having a go at ours :)
Its not as easy as you would think.
I like my supra, i think it looks fucking nice as pie.
But it all comes down to personal taste. Personally, i think rec's car is too fat but it still looks mad as !
But thats my opinion and thats why my car looks like it does.
The best thing bout this game, is rocking up to the line in a 4 player online game and seeing everyones mad rides!

Got the game yesterday and lovin' it.
Started off with the honda- civiv
then moved to the Hyandia(dont know how to spell it) and about to trade that in for the Nissan Stater or something. cant wait to get the Toyota Supra.

In all honesty, the Supra isnt that flash.
Its a good drag car though. Fast off the mark and the right power band.
But if you want to excel in drifting, sprint or circuit racing, i would recommend the 240SX (which is what im using atm).

Well i saw it running on a gf4 to 4200 and it looked like SH*T, It would chug with reflections and stuff turned on, But on a 9600pro and 9800 it works fine and looks good.
Is there anyway to go back a level in underground mode?, As i accidently pressed continue instead of restart on a map where i was going to get a unique part :(

I've got a Radeon 9800 Pro, XP1800+ and 512mb DDR400. Running at 1280x960 with max in-game settings as well as FSAA 4x and AF 16x, still runs great and looks fantastic.

As when i was comparing phoenix's gf ti 4200 to my 9800 it looked so crap.
I run it with max everthing with 6x FSAA and 16x AF, but at 1024 by 786.

Thats insane. I saw it on Phoenix's as well - and he DID have everything turned down or off to get an acceptable fps. He's got an AthlonXP 2800+, 1gb of RAM, and the Geforce4 Ti400.
Although he needs to adopt a little PC neatness - ffs its a lost cause trying to navigate through his file system, and his frikkin psu is supported mainly by masking tape.

Did he have AA and AF on? Ive got the demo of the game. Runs fine on my GF4ti4200 with max details, but if I put aa and af on it runs crap. But I dont mind, I wouldnt expect it to run well.

He said he hadn't. But just looking at his computer, is enough reason to see why it was running so bad. PSU sticky taped in, fan on PSU not going. No file structure on his 5hdd's at all. just one big mess. The damn drivers for his vid are probably having a hard enough time trying to find all there files to even run.

I Fixed my Comp :D :D
My Hard Drives are now set out VERY well.. like an ISO H/d for my iso's and a movies 1 for all my movies etc...
I got a conversion plate for my PSU, so now it's not sticktaped in :D
And I Fixed Need 4 Speed
The problem was in my Ti4200 settings, in display EVERYTHING was set to run at BESTEST!!! image quality, naturally killing the performace and making it not run as well. The game runs perfectly now with everything turned to full and the only differance I see is the writing is a TINY bit blurrier. All good!!! Im Happy
What do you other Ti4200 people have ure setting set to???
And Also my Ti only runs at AGP 4x and not 8x coz my srupid motherboard won't let me force it into 8x, it friggin says the most desired setting is 4x. !!!! Grrrrrr

The NFS:U readme says its broadband only but the demo readme said a similar thing yet it worked fine for me online (just a bit o lag ofcourse).
Well I managed to download the patch by finding its URL, the java thing still wont work for me. But its in .rtp format so I cant find much to do with it. :|
