ah Yes the tn1 LANs ... .:) i remember them like they were yesterday :)

werent the prices based on about 150-175 ppl showing??? if so is there even a slight possibility of the prices lowering just a tad??? last lan was only $20 this is $30 for the same number of days and 3 days is $35 geeze fellas thats a wee bit high for just letting us plug ure puters into eachothers... i spose it does havto cover costs of hiring the venue but seriously how much does it cost to hire the place??? now theres like 250 ppl can we nock it down even $5 would be great... if u didnt realise im runnin short on cash :( :cry:
if not it doesnt matter just making a suggestion. i could always get down on my hands and knees and beg my parents to let me borrow MORE money..

ok maybe u are all a lil older than me because im not even legally alowed into clubs yet :( so yeah i dont spend nething out on the town :D ..... most likely u all have jobs and yeah $35 isnt a problem for you but seriously how much does the venue cost where does the profit go to... ok im not entirely sure about how much the venue cost but theres no way in hell itll cost 7 grand for 3 days i mean what happens to the profit do the admins all get a share in ot or somthing :wink: if not if its a non-profit thing and u all get together just to play games and leech why the hell do u need to make so much profit. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

thats been explained repeatedly.
lan events require EXPENSIVE hardware. somewhere, the funds have to be raised to acquire this hardware. thats where the profit goes, and also to bankroll against the possibility of income not meeting costs (say, hardly anyone turns up to a lan, and it doesn't make enough money to cover the costs of the venue).
the cost has been broken down in other threads already.
the admins do not take a cut.
i believe that covers it.
