well lookign at some of the photos and hearing first hand.. New Zealand bdo went off.
Me along with some other people on this forum will be going to one of these Big DAy out's.
Now im making this thred so people can post pic and tell there storys..

i was disappointed with bdo this year, im not a huge metallica fan (there good but) and there wasnt really anyone else good going!
i know the line-up is pissweak compared to others but i didnt pay for the ticket so im not complaining
well if you dont have to pay for the ticket than waaahoooo!!! otherwise its a big pppffftt.... who the hell cares! :P
i have wwwaaayyyy better things to spend that kinda money on.... get some culture into you boys! go see some theatre!! :P

nah, too poor of a set for me. It was rumoured this was gonna be last BDO ever, thats why Metallica was playing - but i haven't heard anything since so we should be right for 2005, gold coast is where I'm heading :D

jet -absolutly packed..wernt even on a main stage and was probs one of the biggest crowds of the day

basement jaxx -as above!! metallica finished at 10:00 so the entire BDO came to watch the jaxx til 11. the atmosphere was insane, especially when they played wheres your head at at the end...un-fuckin-real!!!
Muse went off pretty hard too although i only got to see em from a distance. i came back to have a quick squizz at the metallica crowd. WOW is all i can say. i wish i liked their stuff, woulda bin awsome but Felix Da Housecat and Basement Jaxx were a very nice substitude indeed!
awsome day. anyone who says the lineup this year wasnt very good needs to either open their fuckin eyes or get a clue
its got alot more undergroundish acts that people who dont listen to triple j/alternate music would not have heard of, i think there were only 2 or 3 acts i didnt know on the lineup, even then ive prolly heard there stuff before without realising its them
well i leave in a couple of days im taking photos and i will post a big long story here... i hope you all had fun sound like you did reload.. im still waiting for your story there chobbin.. :)

well i must say i had a good day.. seeing metallica.. and seeing 16-19 year old chicks getting naked... (will post them as well) so of the other bands were alright.. had a listen to everyone really... EXEPT BLACK PEA people thing.. they fucking suck... and the strokes got booed off again.. :) but yeah had fun.. just siping my rum... and about to go to bed..

and soloman, apparently they change their set for every single show this tour, so i wander what perth will get.

nah i dont think they are changing there set for the BDO's only diff set for the full on concerts and for BDO's, bands never change their sets throughout tours due to the complexity of rehearsals etc.

the concert was awesome i was in the middle of the crowd and all i could smell was hooch!!!! hehe it was a full on show, heaps of old skool songs.
