Just wondering if anyone was planing to run a dedicated server for this? I had my 1st go at the lan patch at a lan on the weekend with 2 mates and never had a problem, ran perfect, cept for abit of lag but that would probobly be EAs fault. Was running v0.9.8 btw. Started out with v0.9.1 but it froze and crashed abit.

Give the admins a megaphone ffs! or some big speakers and a mic. Last year I couldn't hear shit when stuff was announced.

An actual whiteboard would be best though. An actual physical whiteboard that people use a pen and their hands to write on.
Think it's something about the effort looking for the whiteboard on the network.

Good idea on organising game times.. but maybe i could aim the projector on the whiteboard and run another unofficial servers thingy.. that idea all depends on room, and where i'm sitting. and how it affects other gamers.. i'm getting there right on time (actually early, but i've been told not to go in till 10) but i'll talk to an admin about it as soon as i get in.

Burk FYI .. we have 3 spots set up for projectors, 1 for the main DGA projector onto the roller door, and 2 others, underneath the overhang,
You will be able to project but will need to be in one of the 2 overhang areas. These area's are set up for the consoles..
There is nowhere else to project.
