My dad used to work on some of the largest oil tankers around the world, theres photos of him, and the crew riding bikes up and down the ship :P

But yeah they are massive, they have like evrything x 10 on board. Tennis courts, pools, bars, nightclubs, shops, evrything - was truely lucky to go on one before coming to Australia, doubt it compares in size but hey :P

Post 16

Go here and u can select which ship you want to see through the eyes of the bridge and more.

Post 23

Does anyone know which ship it is? We have had some huge ships here in Adelaide of late - including the Start Princess and the Queen Elizabeth 2 (which I think is the 2nd largest ship in the world). They are truly amazing!

Post 24

I believe it was the Star Princess

Post 25

Yes, it was the Star Princess, the latest in the 'Princess' Fleet. Its not the biggest ocean liner in the world though. The Star Princess weighs 109,000 tonnes I believe, is about 300 or so metres long, 16 levels,
I believe there is one called 'The World' which is either getting built or is built. That is going to be 400,000 tonnes and over 400 metres long, 23 levels, and 5094 residences, as you have to BUY a home on there and they sail u around the world for the rest of your life. I believe the cheapest is over 160K with the most expensive being nearly 10 million and there is an ongoing fee per month for what you buy of a minimum of $3000 for the cheapest place.

Here is the website for the Princess fleet.

Heres the website to buy one:

There's another ship like that, cant remember the name, but all the 'houses' on it are like 5mill each and upkeep of like 5k a month

But yeh, I'd so get somethin like that if I had the $, like imagine, flyin out to your house on a chopper and then sippin cocktails from your own spot on the deck, it'd be mad :D

Post 27

Yeah I think its the same one Text. There is a few of them, a fleet of the same ships being built. There meant to be floating cities.
Some poeple have too much money. :)
