okay i have NWN but have never played multiplayer b4..(thats actually because i only just actually brought the game so now have a legit cd key :oops: )..
Questions.
Do you need all the expansions to play online?
Is there anything extra i need to play online?
Can i port characters over from my single player game or do i start a new char?
I think thats about all i need to know for now. Thanks in advance guys

- At the present time to play on internodes NWN servers you will require NWN and the 1st expansion SoU, these come in a pack called NWN gold. Shortly though HotU will be needed, but for now its not.
- The internode NWN server runs a custom script, I dont know too much about it, but all as you need to do is get the NWN update and you are right to play.
If you are just running NWN and SoU/NWN gold grab this patch

If you are running HotU grab this

- Regarding characters, they are all server vault characters. Saved on the internode server not on you local hard drive, so no you will need to start a new character on the internode server and play there.

Just a thing with your character being stored on the server vault: If you play online, make sure you save your character properly before closing down your game. It is very important, as your character may not save correctly if you just exit as you would in SP mode.
Also, if you decide you have had enough for one night and you currently in a party in a semi difficult area, make sure to go back to a safe town (Ie, Nubenzore) before you save and exit. I have found this very important as often i have been stuck out in the middle of nowhere and had a very hard time returning to a safe area.
