I still reckon Eve Online is where it is at for PVP, a single mistake can set up back 15-20 hours of play easily :) Now that gets the adrenalin going.

The NT isn't going to get any more dslamms from anyone if the backhaul is at Telstra rates. Internode apparently have enough customers for a few exchanges to be enabled, just the cost of the backhaulage that makes it a non viable exercise.
