i bet adam goes out now and chicks are throwing themselves at him because ..

people say personality is the only thing to look for
but its bullshit
looks count as much IMO
but then again you could have a nice chick with a stupid personality its always a shame.
but looks are imporant too look at it this way in years to come you dont wanna be waking up every mornign next to somethign that scares ya

Post 11

Adam comes back in Season 3 of 'Average Joe' except this time it's him choosing girls, so I suppose RETARDS wish comes true :P

Post 12

really?! lol, that would be cool, id watch that.

lol, knight summed up how i see things almost excatly.... except for the waking up mext to something scary..... people are *always* scary when they wake up.... unless they are the main role in a movie.....

I don't consider myself shallow, I don't watch the show and don't know exactly what happened, but based on the converse here there's something I wanted to say.

You could be the greatest girl in the world, but if I don't find you attractive, there is no relationship. Let's face it, no one would like to jump in the sack with someone they find repulsive, thus a whole dynamic aspect of the relationship is then blown away, and the other three legs of the table collapse soon after.

I'm not the type of person that will get involved with someone just for looks, but if they're not even slightly attractive (to me, ofcourse), then I'm not going to be interested.

Or, he'll get drunk as a skunk, and wake up next to the ugly one. He ties up the only other witness and throws her off a bridge.

lol, low mungus... low....

i think its a cack that everyone feels the need to get defensive about wanting to hook up with cute people.... nothing wrong with it at all! everyone is someone else's weirdo.... and its part of how we are as a breeding species. we have an instinctual need to find succesful genes, which generally come in something physically appealing to us. or so our hormones say.....

Well the "Captain Obvious" branch of psychology - social psychology, basically says that relationships run on a kind of a rough plan:

1) Proximity.
2) Attractiveness is the item that is first assessed.
3) Personality only comes into play later.

I mean there's a lot of other factors that affect the long-term outcome of a relationship, but the first and most important item tends to be attractiveness.

Then you get things such as - people of similar attractiveness are more likely to form couples - people of similar IQs - similar politics - similar religious outlooks etc. The evidence is in that for many couples, opposites do not attract.

A very interesting finding is that couples where both individuals have an androgynous gender profile (ie, having qualities of both masculine and feminine personality stereotypes) are the most successful, bar none. There you have it.

ha haaaaa! i love killing stereotypes. meph and I have nothing in common almost, except our relationship. sure we both like RPG but different systems and games. we both love our computers but again, different aspects of it. i drink....alot.... he drinks none. i like being social, he dosnt. he has particular views that i dissagree with almost to the point of making him crazy. but still we get along. we have very very different IQ's he is smart and im a dumbass..... were just completley oppisite.
tho i find the second paragraph i highlighted there interesting as well and this i do agree on to a point. because although meph is so much a blokey bloke and is always trying to be big and tough so much i want to kill him sometimes, i hate being a girly girl and would rather hang with the guys then i dunno, go shopping or to tupperwear parties. so if thats what is meant by that bit about having masculine and feminine qualities then my relationship prooves a theory.
but still.... stereotypes are over rates and too easy to kill.... this is my point :P

Lilu, El Prez said that people with similar IQs/interests/etc are more likely to form couples. He didn't say anything about how successful those couples would be based on those similarities.

How are you defining sucess? The amount of time the couple stay together for? Or the quality of the relationship? If it's the first, I'd have to say that a long relationship doesn't always mean a good one. If it's the second, how is this being measured?

Post 19

i think successful is measured by them not breaking up after a week.... or maybe them getting married. that could work too.... hmm what would be considered successful?*ponders*

Post 20

Personally most Supermodels and that includes probaly the majority of the actresses out their are nothing but airheads whose demeanor, style and IQ leave much to be desired.

Hey buts thats my opinion. Gve me a down to eath real person who likes me for what I am and I am happy.
