With DGA supporting and what I will be playing in a BF:V tourny.
I am wondering what interest there is in the NT at the moment to play CS at lans.
DGA being small is really dominated 1 game comp per LAN as we dont have the numbers ..
Many people dont like CS that is there right and I wont stop that
I for one like CS and will continue to play it in a competitive fashion so WHo else wants to see CS still played competivly at LAN's
This isnt a dig at DGA but an enquiry for myself

Personally I'm not interested in the game, nor it's clan scene in the slightest anymore. However, if Doom 3 hasn't been released by DGA 28, I'd be very happy to run a CS 1.6 (or more likely, Condition Zero, which I do have slight interest in) tournament at DGA 28 - if there is interest.

and from those 3 2 play in my CS clan so we have half a team and 1 person :)
I would rather CS then anything else, because i dont have those other games and room on my HDD for those games and a decent gfx card to run those games, and those other games just arent for me... so if theres not going to be anymore cs at lans then I wont continue going....

Yes for me, but it does depend on what is available come LAN time...
I'm not really into the BF games (unless Vietnam changes my stance on that...) and I prefer games like Doom, CoD, CS etc
Alan FYI There will be CS at LAN's. As in this upcomming Lan I will have 2 servers for 1.6 which I will make a post about so that people dont get dissapointed if they do the wrong things to play.
I am after whether there is interest in Darwin to run it as a Comp.

I do not care much for CS anymore(been like this for a while now), except playing in the odd online war.
Trouble is at times there is no alternative at LAN's, as CS servers are full, and the other game servers are only intermittently full, of which needs good timing to browse those games.
However, this may be a sign of the lingering popularity of CS......

I have once thought that CS was ripe and rich in the NT but no alas it isnt, there are only a select few of us that by the looks, early days so far anyways that want to and will still play CS competivly. I like the game, and wont change what I do. I mean at LAN's like everybody else I will provide a server for me to play on .. whether its full is not my decision.
i afgree with rec if there is interest and more people want to play cs over a different game we should give CZ a try
it new it feels the same but has new maps and look so much nicer
lol. we cant "try" CZ becuase the steam update just blocked anyone from playing it fool :p
im up for cs its been awhile since a seriouse cs comp in darwin and with 1.6 on lan now i think it would be the perfect time.
If any of you who know people that attend lans that would be interested in this get them to post here, the more numbers I have the better representation we can all get.

With this I am going to Run the servers on the weekend of 3/4 march, They will be available for WARS if people ask me and supply me with bribes (women accepted)

They will be available to anybody who wants too use them. I am looking at HLBook actually to make a booking system so you get give passwords and rcon and do it all yourselves .. not sure if its doable yet but thats in the works ..
but for DGA 27 I will see how the servers go, see how many people play and take a judgement from there.
