Who pays for all the network cable in the world?

It can't all be stolen someone has to have paid for it originally... whoever it is i think is getting a very sore deal.

Well...from my experience all the Network cable in the Darwin area comes from Darwin High School :P

All depends what its for if a public school then yes government!
If private then the school itself, if a LAN then the admin, if at home then ur poor silly self, if underground then telstra.

Everyone pitches in bits and pieces here. Funny when they were setting up internet at my old school down south. Network cables hanging around everywhere and kids with wire clippers from the Tech room! :D The rest is self explanitory.

They first installed cat5 in my house which we didnt want, so they took it all out (500m) then they installed 500m of cat6e for us :)
