Oh my gosh this game is just GREAT! It has everything! Heck, yesterday I even found a helicopter to fly!! The controls are a bit of a bitch and I don't like the radio but everything else is just great.
Any tips people could give out for me? I'm up to um... I just did the last mission for Diaz... and now I have to go rescue Lance :twisted: these missions are getting really hard! A pistol just doesn't cut it anymore :(
I have a good memory. Within a week I know where I'm going mostly and I've even found a few cool hidden things (Helicopters, PCJ-600's, weapons etc.) and the firetruck is great too... fast way for money :D
here's a tip, drag shortcuts to your favourite mp3s to the mp3 directory under the game directory, then switch to the mp3 radio station to listen to them. personally, i love the in game stations :)
Look through Google :o Rockstar have already begun development on the next installment to the GTA series :) The dodgey thing is that it's made for PS2 and then ported to PC, imho it'd be a much better result if it was optimised for PC and then ported to PS2.. but oh well, SONY pay them shitloads so I guess it's up to them :(

Thanks for that tip! While the ingame stations are kinda cool, I'd rather listen to my music instead. Those stations seem a bit older for me. I'm told i'm about halfway through the game and I'm still loving it! It's getting awfully hard now though :o Any word on the new one? Title? Differences?
i heard that somewhere in this forum that the places follow gta 1 like the 1st one is liberty cit, the 2nd city is vice city and....... wait i havn't played gta1 well thats what i heard
Oh crap! October! Well, I think I have almost finished this game... and I still play MP2. Maybe they will both last me til then. Vice City should last me at least another 2 months :)
yeah, great game. oi amph, heres a couple of tips:
when u buy the car showroom, u can get wicked cars by completing lists. near the garages theres a list, bring the cars to the garage near the list and then when u complete a whole list you will get an exclusive car in the showroom!
also, when u get enough properties, u will get a respawning weapon at your save points. keep collecting the minigun and eventually you will get unlimited ammo for it!
buy lots of companies that respawn u money and make sure u collect the money!!
oh and if u prefer the PS2 feel of the game, buy a PS2 controller and then get a port converter to change the plug from the PS2 thingy to USB
when uve done all the missions and got all the properties, there is still much to do including all the bonus missions and robbing stores

vc was good but to easy to finish all i can do now is basicly stealing the armys helli with guns or getting tanks and just going as fast as i can by shooting the cannon backwards and going up jumps. i also like collecting cars
