Wow 28 days, what a awsome movie. Although it seems to be riding the wave of virus/zombie movies that have been coming out in the last few year, its one of the best serious ones ive seen in a while. However 28 days lost some of its seriousness in becoming a low level comedy at some points in the film. If you hire the DVD watch the 2nd alternative ending, its a good laugh how the directors lose the plot.

On the other hand an Aussie movie "undead" takes off all zombie/alien movies and its a good ol' aussie pissa. Its a good watch if you have a few friends over to have a laugh with. And the best part is the hero has a 3 barrel shot gun. The fight scenes with the zombies are great and the town copper has to be the star of the film.

28 days - 4 & 1/2 starz
Undead - 4 starz

Well thats PAz0rs post of the week :P
Get them both, enjoy them both

I enjoyed 28 days later as well. I did a good job of capturing the feel of some of the old school zombie/horror movies of the early 80's. 8)

But you are right they did lose the plot a little along the way.
ps. I enjoyed the movie so much i bought it on DVD way back in January. 1 word for you folks before you go off your tree that it is only just available here (Amazon)

Speaking of classic early 80's horror movies.
I just saw a preview for a remake of a legendary movie called "Dawn of the Dead". by legend George A. Romero.
Crickey i just did a search on the original and it was released in 1978, older than a good percentage of you peoples who post & troll here.
(a good percentage not all, i know some of you are old enough to have been born when that was around.)

Anyways they have made a remake of it, it is out in the USA, plus we have trailers for it in OZ so it cant be too long off getting a release here.
This has certainly made my day a good one!! :D 8)

Well, UNDEAD in my opinion was fucking brilliant.

It was the directors first movie. I think he realised that he would not pull off a serious horror on his first attempt, so in knowing this, created a movie with slapstick to increase its value.

If you can watch a movie without being critical (ie, have a laugh), then go watch it, its great :D

Dawn of the Dead is a classic.

Post 13

saw the remake last week and was pretty good. Be sure to stay at the end of the credits because it has the ending and it is not pretty.

Post 14

Cool ill add it to my list of things to be scared by.....
