yeah, ive been doin a yr 10 VET multimedia course, pretty good. n ive been learning how to use flash this term. what i want to kno is if there ne others here who use/have used this program. if u want to see some flash movies go to www.newgrounds.com also www.weebls-stuff.com is pretty good.

We all know what Flash is :P I've tried to learn it multiple times, it's really hard though. I think Knight might know some stuff (more than me probably) because I'm sure he referred me to some stuff. If you have the program at home, do all the basic tutorials TWICE or more! You might understand more the second time.

it is pretty hard. but very rewarding when uve done it, i night b able 2 pm u the swf. file of one i did, its pretty random, but enjoyable :P yeah, i just wanted 2 kno if ne 1 else but me has made a few animations. i was thinkin maybe i could makeup a darwin gamers intro flash movie, just to give the dga site a little bit of "pzazz" :lol: oh, if u want a funny flash movie site, check out www.badgerbadgerbadger.com its funny, but is on repeat so dont expect it to be any different the 10th time it plays! :P

yea badger we all remember that it got really boring after, though it was posted a month ago (yea i know you havn't been updated or awhile though :|) they put a loop in it (think thats whats it called)

yeah its originally sized at sig size, but i can't code webpages in the slightest, so i can't help the resize :P

lol, my next sose assignment im gunna do as a flash animation, due on tues :S gotta get me arse inta gear. its on WW2, stalingrad.. i was thinkin of putting in sum battlefeild demos.... but thats too hard n i dont have battlefeid installed ne more (got too pissed off at seeing "you have to upgrade ur version to 123.424.5656245.7 kasfndsa.`.13.14.2143") BF1942 needs to be like cs 1.6, automatic updates which connect u to the server u wanna play wen its done.. brilliant :wink:

Flash MX pisses me off because it had a bug in it where it wouldn't communicate with PHP like its meant to (which i didnt know about), resulting in many hours of me going insane and destroying stuff, then me getting a really shit mark for a really easy assignment that i got really bored with and decided to do something both hard and useful rather than easy and pointless...
aside from that its a nice animation program and is perfect for doing cool menus and ads

hey how do u make ur avatar animated? is it just a gif? if so then how do u make a gif from a .fla or .swf format? i heard u can do that sumwhere
oh n burk, theres nothing wrong with steam, altho it slows ya system down heaps if ur not using it

This forum, and most others only accept .jpg, .gif and .png file formats. I think you can either save things from Flash into a .gif format, or you can use Animation Shop or something to do it for you.
