LAN playable FUN RPG's.

Apart from D2/Sacred and NWN what other decent LANABLE RPG's are there out there? that are worth playing at any rate.?

Dungeon Siege.

I dont think anything is better then D2 cause its alot faster then NWN.
NWN isnt too bad tho.

Any multiplayer versions of nethack/rogue games ever been made??

I remember an OLD RPG called SHadows of Yserbris (sp) that was one of the first p2p, round about 1995 I think but never saw it in action.

yeah the addon is multiplayer also (legends of aranna). vampire the masquerade has a decent (but short) rpg out, which is multiplayer, that's fairly interesting.

War hammer dark omen is multiplayer, is an rpg/strategy, If i could get it to work on my computer i could tell you if its lan playable or not. From memory the game was fun :).

dark omen is shocking... and from memory it's an isometric turn-based strategy :| boredom x 2. (esp. on lan)

System Shock 2 Co-Op ;) but more than 2 players and you're out of luck :)

Its an rpg/realtime strategy and had for its time a decent 3d engine with 2d sprites for troops. From memory anyway pretty sure its no turn based.

i cant stand turn based games... except for worms lol

System Shock 2 is bloody awesome and yeah seqo its bloody hard with 2 as it doesnt compensate for more people so there is the same amount of ammo and weapons ahaha but the 2nd guy makes an awesome wheelbarrow to carry all those chemicals and stuff

have done so, finished the entire game in one sitting, with all three classes, I was the psichic/wheelbarrow/ammo cart :P

I love the magic 8 ball of death in that game :P

I loved Dark Reign, and I have ALL the old maps off the activision servers as well as the latest patches and correct stuff for running it on windows XP.......it rocked then and it still does in my opinion.....I wish it was still being played.

Lionheart was good multiplayer fun.
Sacrifice too! Except that was more a sort of strategy-kinda-ish game... I think I can sum Sacrifice up really well by saying it was wierd, but in a good way.

Can't really think of any others that haven't been mentioned...
