that tetris level 800 was on the network at evo 4, its pretty impressive :O
what im wondering is
how do people have such fast reactions times???
in the time that it takes for me just to RECOGNIZE the 'next' block coming, this guy reshapes, thinks where to place, and moves his hands accordingly,
that must be what, less than 0.1 sec reaction time?
mate these guys are good, what type of lives do they lead ???
there are people like this in Australia... people who take games seriously :D... when i went down to wcg.. most were like this

Dude pro-gaming is nothing compared to this freakishly insane stuff... These guys are so good at their chosen thing that it makes pro-gamers seem like noobs :P
haev you seen HL in 45 minutes damn now thats freaky casue some of the crap he does is just plain cheesy should be on the same website

Yeah, because stacking cups super-quick and finishing Super Mario Bros. in 5 minutes is a talent that clearly surpases the smarts, reflexes and accuaracy that the worlds best FPS pro-gamers boast...
Yeah...but they still cant stack cups, LOL
wow yeah rec shut them down!
Yeh, its reflexes and team tactics
not just reflexes
Gotta agree with rec 100% there.
rec your comparing cs to these games, when its got nothing to do with cs. their skill in their chosen game far outways any pro cs player, and its different skill, obviously they wouldnt be able to play FPS games at the same level because thats not the game they chose. pro fps gamers have skill, but cs has limits, these games do not..well not as much.
hmmm, but if they have freakin good reflexes wouldnt they be able to prac up and become very l33t at cs?
Heretic... err, what? If you had a point, that wasn't mute, please clarify. Can't believe I just wanted my time reading your post of dribble. :)
What he meant is, is that you cant compare a side scroller to CS.
But with enough practice you can be good in both.
These guys are just absolute freaks, and i'd rank them higher than a pro-cs player.
i dunno, a lot (most?) of these games are single player things, if you know a map, where to go, where enemies do all their shit, it's easy.
cs however, is played with REAL people, who work dynamically, no map is the same.
so it's different i guess, the skill in playing cs is different to doing...a rubix cube or playing a platform game..
im trying to download this guy who clocked street fighter 2 on the hardest level with all perfect rounds...
now that takes skill....
Milenko is right, you can't compare these people to people who play team games, they are two compleatly different fields. But if you watch the video of the guy compleating Half-Life in 45 minutes then you can see how he not only perfects his run through the level but also deals with his mistakes at a extemely fast pace. As for these only being videos of people memorising the games, tetris level 800 in 5 minutes or Pop N' Music - 'Concertare (classic4) on random' by Robo, these are videos of people with extemely fast reaction times.
