In RPGs and the like is there a class that you love to play all the time, and why is it that you like the class?
Probably already been asked, but I was just wondering and I'm kinda new here :P
Myself, I enjoy playing rogue classes like assassin/thief
Because I like the shadows and I love stealthy abilities
Except in Diablo 2(expansion) my biggest char is a paladin and I like playing my pally in D2 cos Assassins are kinda boring in it
Fighter/Barb
I like this class because all i need to worry about is getting strong and lots of HP's and walking in and smashing shit.
I get confused looking for my binds for spells and crap.
Fighter/Barb - for all the reasons Knight has said.
Depends on the game, but as a genral rule of thumb, im the Tank class in any RPG.
Reason:
Caus spellcasters are f4gs :P
yeah i'm usually the warrior or barbarian, also for the reason that i like to blow the shit out of things, and find tweaking and learning spells a bit too tedious
Support. As weird as it may seem, I enjoy it a lot. Considering there aren't many and to be a good support (healer/buffer, etc) is difficult, so in the end it's a challenge and is good to know your the one who keeps your party alive (hopefully) :P
Then there is the downside to your class... everyone tries to use you, and you end up getting a lot of idiots, etc.
But when it comes to offensive type, easy the archer/bow user of the game. Always strong fast, quick to lvl, and looks the best imo :P Mages/Spell Casters are pretty good, always fun to play because you can do a lot of different things, but I find them best in parties (big parties). Myself personally prefer to go as a couple or 3 people, in some games/areas this is a bit hard though :P
Im normally a big slow stupid fighter...
Lineage tho im playing a support cleric...

Ranger/Archer/Hunter type.
Little bit of magic, lots of dexterity and has to be very quick. Usually I combine this with an Elf/Half-Elf race... too much Baldur's Gate 2 :O
i'm with the Assassin/Monk.. cross classing these has worked out nicely for me at higher levels.
