Walk out of my house at 11:55 am this morning.

What do I see? Cops have blocked off the ends of my street. They're all wearing bullet-proof (...resistant) vests.

Me: :-?

Needed to get to Uni, so I drive to the end of the street and the cop tells me that I won't be able to come back home... Ok.

ABC News crew quickly comes over and asks me questions about what is going on etc. Me: :-? (I might be on tonight...the guy that has no idea what's going on...)

Ring up my dad about five mins later and ask what's going on...

Crossbow wielding AJ psycho is sitting on the top of his roof a few houses down from where I live. (Don't think it's cool to go and have a look if you know where I live... you'll get told to bugger off, watch it on the news if you're curious)

Brother is still at home, rings me up and tells me that the guy keeps screaming stuff loudly etc.

So I can't go home... and I left a Uni assignment there... :(

Speaking of interesting stories, a couple weeks ago I saw a new model, polished black BMW come to a grinding halt on the side of the road.

"Damn rich people, they'll never learn to drive" I muttered... suddenly the interior lit up with red and blue, it was an undercover. Suddenly this woman, clearly upset, bursts out of the back passenger side windows and continues to frantically sprint across a major highway in peak traffic. The officers, with hands on pistols began to persue her on foot... but these were not your every day policeman, these D's were in suits, Men in Black styles.

I laughed, then realised the sad truth; this wasn't even suprising... because I live in Salisbury. :(

Oh, and two nights ago I saw a woman walking down the middle of an empty street at 11pm dissapear into thin air... I didn't sleep at all that night, understandably.

ABC had reports of an armed man on a roof in leanyer

..then they said the man never existed..

he did. they got the wrong place. heh.

channel 9 said he never existed either, that all they found was a arrow in a tree.

then they also showed a police media conference with a officer saying the man wasnt there, they knew where he was and he wasn't armed..

Actually it's not quite right. They were after a guy with a crossbow. They triangulated his mobile to Palmo. Someone stuffed up and the bolt in the tree thing threw a few people off.

I don't know where they got the whole: He's on the roof thing... but that's what they thought. TRG, in situations like this, are supposed to go in and knock etc (that's why they have ballistic shields...) but they didn't. Noone thought to do anything. So everyone sat around for five hours. :|
