Bittorrent itself is easy to monitor and track, it was never designed for its current use.
Edonkey and mule are older systems, I'm looking for the next one that will replace torrents :)
ROFL@DGA, its only a matter of time till some 12 yo shows there mom all this cool pron he ftp'd from DGA and they all get sued :) They never did understand the legal difference between WFS and FTP, let alone supplying the network to do it :)

Dunno what they are targeting atm , anda got hit just for a movie, just a nice please remove it from your shared files kinda mail.
So if you are sharing large amounts of new release movies expect a few emails I suppose :)
It's not the version thats the problem the underlying bittorrent network is not secure and never was intended to be, need a new network type.

uhm. as soon as you start downloading a torrent, you immediately begin sharing the file. that's kinda how the whole thing works.

Dood when you are getting say..the latest 7 Enterprises right.
Chances are they are coming from the one main tracker/server.......
THe more you upload the more the server allows you to download, if you use the system a lot its a great system, get used to it cause all of them are eventually gonna do it to kill off the leeches...LIKE YOU!!! :P :)

torrent trackers don't host anything except the .torrent itself. (well okay, sometimes they may also seed the file, but that's not required) it's the people connected to the tracker who host the actual target file, so yeah, the people sharing the file, are either downloading it too, or have finished downloading it and are being nice enough to stay connected to the tracker. but meh, torrent is old news anyway.

Always seemed strange to ban ppl viewing pron cause kids are around but have 20+gig on DGA servers for anyone.

DC++ isn't secure either.
Use an IP blocker like one of those I posted above and you should have less to worry about - Safepeer = Azureus plugin. Peerguardian = seperate program.

If you really need access to pron, and you know who has it.. you can ask them for access.. there will be no general access to pron.. and if anyone gives their passwords for ftps to kiddies (or pron) i will hit you with a stick. Look out for some post regarding all this before EVO.
