they needed more blood and gibs in hl2 :D

Post 8

They did have HL2 in the list... at number 4.

What a pathetic excuse to whinge. "They need a new game rating system that parents can understand". If you honestly can't understand that 17+ means for people 17 years and older then you have something SERIOUSLY wrong with you and you probably shouldn't be a parent.

Man if they should be so uptight about violence they should start censoring american TV

Post 10

...how about sensoring the news? How many times a week, do you see tanks opening up on Bosnia, militants walking around firing guns etc.

omg, can show people real life, but cant let them play a game !!

So parents should watch what their kids play, instead of giving them games that are marked MA15+ - games are targeted for older people like us, aren't they? That's why they have reference to sexual material (which kids might not understand). Conkers Bad Fur day sure did, and that was fun.

Admittably, when I played Halo, if I got really peed off. I'd go knock some of my own guys off cliffs, or I'd grenade a whole bunch of stuff. And in Vice City, I ran so many people over (especially those f-ing haitans - always stopping me doing what I wanted) cos it made that funny sound! But if games don't have a good enough way to let off steam (like pong or tetris) I just yell and scream and shit.

I like what someone said in another topic. Saying that violence in kids is caused by video games is like saying that maniac drivers are caused by driving movies :)
