Enterprise just doesn't have the same sort of appeal to me as its predecessors...
SG1 has a good story base but lacks the actual content of show... I still prefer Star Trek Voyager or The Next generation... one day if I ever have the money and the time I'll go out and buy all the DVD's and sit down and watch each series from start to finish...

Enterprise is shocking, imho. Third season was alright though... And I consider myself a bit of a Trekkie.
SG1 just destroys it in every department.

not as disappointed at hearing this news as i would have been if i heard it a month ago, before i started watching the new battlestar series. now if they cancel THAT you can be i'll be frothing at the mouth.

lets just hope that they finnish of season four in a way that kind of wraps up the series instead of leaving it hanging like some other series that find themselves cancelled half way.

They need another conflict in Star Trek, a new alien race, not Borg, but one that the borg do not attempt to conquer, and one that is somewhat advanced compared to starfleet, and is a little more agressive, but the potential to be good.

damn, that sucks. i havent seen the current series but its always sad to see a good show get cancelled, and see these ****ing idiots jump off bridges and eat snakes be on prime time TV. just ****ing sad.

Well i started collecting the star gate series, i have season 5,6 and going from 1 - 4 now.
at $69 a pop its a kick in the gut, but its well worth it when you see the quality picture and sound.

While I still watch Stargate SG1, it's gotten a bit boring. Stargate Atlantis OTOH is a breath of fresh air, and the season finale that aired last week was better than any SG1 episode, ever.

Atlantis is Awesome. the first season is finished, and it's by far one of my favourite tv series to date, up there with family guy, simpsons and SG1. I never really did like the other scifi serieseseseses.
