How are your WoW characters going?

Just interested to see where peoples characters are up to and how they are liking them.

Currently im on Kel'Thuzad.
Faction: Alliance.

Level 46 Human Warrior:
Tough as a brick shithouse...but cant fight my way out of a wet paper bag.
Im the new bitch in the jail-house. Druids and Rogues are my big bubba's. :(

Level 29/30 Gnome Warlock:
Warlocks are cool. They are killers in PvE. Awesome tanks (Voidwalker). Really enjoy the warlock. Plus im short...which is always funny.

Level 37 NightElf Rogue:
'Phonic' stabs you in the kidney. Phonic hits you over the head. You get pwnd. You die.
Awesome class

Got to lev 29 then sorta lost interest. Started a few characters on other servers with friends to try get back into it but it never clicked. Last night i cancelled my renewing subscription so as of the 4th of next month ill have no WoW.

Lvl 50 Troll Rogue:
Got bored for abit and have been on 50 for about a month but started playing again today 3/4 to 51 :). UBRS here I come.

I also no longer use posmos anymore. :D

I want to get my rogue to level 40 at least, get my Panther :D

Going to farm so gold tonight as well, up to about 60g and hopefully my auction house sales will get me to 75g. Then send some gold over from my main. Weeeee.

Casue quest XP isn't counted towards rested XP.

well if by nerfed you mean seal of the crusader now does what it's always been described as doing, then yeah, you've been nerfed. i'm surprised it took that long.

The seal of crusader wasn't a nerf. It was a bug and was never intended to speed up your DPS.

Going well, just got a new mace, liking my survivability (healadin), especially since hunting in strangethorn vale, which is PK central.

Lvl15 Rouge gnome : Skyve
Nothing better than a gnome to take down a huge tauren! Rouge is fun but no healing. Opposite melee playstyle to paladin.

the pallies have been stealthed nerfed
that is, base dps has been lowered

so now my dps is at 111 with seal of the crusader on compared to 160 pre patched

I started a Paladin last night, got him to level 8 before logging in as my Rogue.
They are awesome. Love being able to heal myself after each fight and regen mana during the next. No downtime :D

Got bored around level 30 so I started a shaman on Proudmoore, but now I cannot be bothered to play that anymore. Playing my main just is soo much better. Cause warriors rock! And damn I want my horse :P

Thats what Seal of Crusader is ment to do, Lower your DPS but speed up your attacking speed. It was always inteaded to do just that. You cant say it was a stealth nerf, it was on the europen patch notes for 2 weeks.

Yeh SotC was granting attack speed without reducing dps.
Its been fixed now.

Paladins are still hacked :P
But most of the 'omg paladins are hacked' arguments were made while most pallys were levels 20 - 30, when most were using Verigans Fist. This weapons is UBER compared to other class quest weapons, or even random drops at the time.

Pallys dont really do alot of damage to start with, its their shield and heal abilities that make them so awesome. But shamans are just the same, totems, heals, mail armour, shield and one handed mace :/ Tough buggers to take down.

Fleshy, we have quite a few level 60 Gnome Warriors on our server....goddamn its funny watching them duel :P

disregarding using seal of the crusader, our BASE dps has been lowered as well

so lets say for example i was hitting for 100 dps pre patch without any active seal

with the patch, that BASE dps has dropped to around 70 -80 dps.

you get it now?

i got no problems with something doing what its meant to do (ie the crusader fix)

i have problems with being nerfed and not being told about it

i tell you what evil and maestro, how about you both shut up, and play the game? :P

i never used SotC anyway, coz it doesnt do as much damage as Command, holy damage out of the command is NOT subject to armour, where as crusader is, so my DPS hasnt lowered at all. maybe it has, its not really noticeable.

for one, pallys are about surviving, and keeping their friends alive, using the light to protect them, not savagely killing everything in 2 hits, if you want to do that be a mage/rogue. if you played warcraft 1,2,3 you'd know that.

im sick of horde whinging about pallys, and pally whinging about nerfs, if you dont know how to kill a pally, then run away or get friends to help you, or maybe just learn how pallys fight. pallys are the best tanks in the game, simple, because of the shields and heals we have, we are MADE TO TAKE DAMAGE and survive in combat, which makes us very hard to kill in PvP, but boohoo? sometimes war isnt fair, so find a way to make it fair, not whinge to blizzard so they can nerf us and you win all the time.

and no hunters dont pwn pallys, if they are played right, then again there are so many skills that each class has it comes down to how quick the player is (ie vipersting, wingclip etc.) pallys can get around these things very easily if he is smart enough, and can easily kill a hunter in hand to hand even with the pet.

its all relative to the situation, ive killed a group of 3 (2 hunters and a warrior) all only a few lvls lower than me pretty much solo (got help with the last one) but thats only because they were stupid and mostly ran around like idiots, but ive also been soloed by a shaman only 2 lvls higher, who killed me easily

so what? should i complain that im not good enough?

My warrior owns rogues....once every half an hour :P

rogues pwn my warlock, quite regularly.

that bug owns hard

sumtimes u get awarded the whole 1.5 lvs when u should have like .2 of a lv, dunno y, but once i had it at like 37 and was killing elites for the next 6 hours in Arathi highlands, and even with a full gorup i was getting Great XP and completing a shitload of quests

LVL60 Tauren Shaman called Delinquent on Kil'Jaeden. Mining: 300, Blacksmithing/Armourmithing: 281

Not too far from the 2 month mark of being lvl60. Game continues to be fun with regular instance runs through Scholomace, Stratholme, Ubrs and Lbrs for 'phat' loot as well plenty of good ol PvP action. And with Battlegrounds yet to come there plenty of fun yet to be had.

Right now my damn server, as well as a number of other are closing in on having being down for a whole 24 hours. Blizzard has some MAJOR problems currently it seems unfortunately.

I started an undead mage on Boulderfist. Undead are so boring though :P

Well...at the moment all servers are down for scheduled maintenance and an additional 2 hours for the new patch to be loaded.

This the patch i've been waiting sooooo long for. This is what all those late night instance runs collecting 'Phat loot' has been for. The new PvP system is part of the patch. PvP will never be the same again. I can't wait to deck my Shaman out in his blue PvP set, it looks AWESOME. Can't wait for the war of the lvl60s to begin in the battlegrounds, Alterac Valley is going to see endless blood flowing as the war between The Unstoppable Hoarde and the Panzy Alliance begins :P

PS: LOL@1337 speak being removed from the game...All numbers and symbols will be unrecognisable to the oppsite faction with this new patch

GOLD. i didnt realise that was coming in last night. i'm soooo going to take the rest of the day off sick.

The PvP items and battlegrounds aren't part of this patch.

Also the PvP changes in this patch are hardly PvP changing at all.

it's not "blizzards" p2p network. it's a bittorrent network. you can unwrap the torrent from the blizzard "installer" and use any torrent client to download it. make sure you have the appropriate ports open to facilitate maximum transfer speeds.

Blizzard is using the P2P network, thus its THEIRS in the sense that i blame them for it being sooooo useless...I really couldn't care less who's network it actually is

look a bit closer to home. there are PLENTY of people who have no problem getting the updates.

There's a few of us reaching a decent level for a VC run. We should organise a get together for it.

YAY 60 as of 2 days ago.

I have to start raiding UBRS, LBRS, UD Strath, SM Strath and Scholo for my Shadowcraft set. Also need to start getting fire resist gear for MC and Onxyia.

and just as blackrock came back to life and i was actually gettting on a roll....it was shut down again

50 undead priest and 8 undead rogue @ frostwolf. Still doing stupid princess runs for eye, mantle and orange for vinerot :(:(

If you play on Kel you can level with Phoenix. I mean I got the gf leveled up to 35 in the last 3 weeks.

I allready have a lvl 30 NE rogue on Blackrock and was just looking for a server to start a Horde on for when I get bored of rogue :)

I sense it's going to be impossible to quest in peace after the patch.
