West Arm is the pick of the arms to go to without a doubt. As for the right or good spots, depends on the tide. Best time is tide coming in or going out , that's when the smaller fish are on the move so the bigger ones are there too. On the bends and near the rocks can't go wrong. :D

going to hit the Yu22 out of the mouth early on sunday, then into the arm for some crabs and hopefully some barra, but smaller eastiery fish.

Then get some live bait and back out too the YU22 for the jewie hunt.

Should be a good day

Muddies are still everywhere atm. I've got 4 in the freezer from last weeks haul of 8, and picked up 20 three weeks ago. Kept the nicest 10 of that lot and heaved the others back into the briney for another time.

I'd be going out again tomorrow if my woman wasn't so evil and makes me spend time with the family and stuff.

Used to go out to Mudginberri station at a place called Magella Creek not far from Cannon Hill. Saw the late Jay Pendarvis prior to entry so it was all sweet to stay for a few days. Absolutely unreal fishing there. That was some time ago though. The creek must still be there of course but don't know how good the barra are biting these days.
