Way I want this too work is. the switch controls both lights so on/off.

I am having problems linking this together .. if anybody knows how and can copy this picture and edit as needed in paint would greatly help me.

Here ya go. Just be wary I've changed the polarities on the globes for ease of drawing.
The positive from the battery goes to the negative of switch, then the positive of switch you run to a positive on one light, then from that positive to the the positive on the other light. Then the negative of that light to the negative of the other then the negative of that light to the battery. That's in parallel, Handy so that if 1 light goes out, the other will stay on. Depends what you want to do I guess.

Hehe, Yeah Xaine's is good too.. up to you and what you want it for, both should work fine.

i dident understand the question... cause i dident think anyone was that stupid and cant join a simple circurt together.. i learned that in year 8 :\
But yeah if u just want it to connect xaines got it right :)
EDIT: one thing u might wanna watch out for is.. Paralell circurts as if one light goes the other one wont work..
In that cause jono's is better..
For Xaines cct you need 6v globes or only get half the intensity. (if useing 12v battery)
I think itd help if we knew what it was for :D
If its for a really simple circuit and it doesnt matter much, go the way Xaine has. If its for a house or something, id say go Parallel.
Mine can also be done another way, instead of connect the last light to the first, just connect the positive to the switch also and negative to battery.
It is year 8 physics, but most people learn in in year 11.
If its for a house or something, I'd say call an electrician.

Mymatsu's looks the best from what limited Elec. Eng. I can recall from last year. Definitely have the Globes in Parallel.
This is kinda crazy with out listed specs of the items, and with out knowing what the lights are for there are different ways this could be approached, are they Starboard - port lights, are the lighting for the cabin, are they.....
Mine was, admittedly, the most basic way, as asked for.
However, the most CORRECT way is Mymatsu's (BTW, both him and me are electronics/electrical techs, and he's less lazy than me ;-)
