The positive from the battery goes to the negative of switch, then the positive of switch you run to a positive on one light, then from that positive to the the positive on the other light. Then the negative of that light to the negative of the other then the negative of that light to the battery. That's in parallel, Handy so that if 1 light goes out, the other will stay on. Depends what you want to do I guess.
I think itd help if we knew what it was for :D If its for a really simple circuit and it doesnt matter much, go the way Xaine has. If its for a house or something, id say go Parallel.
Mine can also be done another way, instead of connect the last light to the first, just connect the positive to the switch also and negative to battery.

This is kinda crazy with out listed specs of the items, and with out knowing what the lights are for there are different ways this could be approached, are they Starboard - port lights, are the lighting for the cabin, are they.....
