Hi all, im looking at getting ADSL asap and just need a bit of info.

Im in palmerston/Moulden.

Can you tell me who your with, the speed of your connection and how much DL (25gig,30gig?) and how much u pay each month. this will help me a bit :)

This looks like to be good value ADSL.. I thinking of getting the same plan as yours or even the 1.5mb/256k 30gig plan +free 4port.. Also, is this internet stable and reliable?

Could u plz tell me how long it took to get the internet up and running and how u went about it mate? ill get my father to ring up and get the details etc.. thnx a ton, and thnx for the other guys puting up info for me..

Another question, what is it i need inorder to connect my computer to my dads (host) to get the ADSL on my machine, what equipment do ya need, im sorry if im a complete n00b but ill learn it all soon :D

Network cable, If the modem has ports, then patch, if not crossover to your old mans comp.... how is he going anyway man?

How long does it take to DL eq2 patches on dial up? lol... one of the many reasons we need adsl, lets say there a patch and servers are down for 4hrs, it can take between 3-5hrs to dl lol, where as adsl is like 10mins if that.. so yea, really sux..

We just bought the 1.5mb plan for tpg and the modem will be here soon!! cant wait :D

just got 1.5MB adsl on tpg plan and seems to be working great, no more 5hr dls to play eq2!!!
