Down to three runs, I thought we had it in the bag! Damn....
Post 3
Even though I don't want to talk about it, we really should be praising the tailenders for getting anywhere near that total.
Post 4
Apparently they are saying his hand was not in contact with the bat when the ball hit it..hence not out :(
Post 5
anyone remember craig mcdermott being given out off the helmet against the windies?
Post 6

Post 7
We gota lose once in a while. Keeps things intresting and the fires burning.
Post 8
Those statements are gay, (we gotta lose sometimes)
How about we Drop out top order batsmen who are doing F-ALL in ways of scoring decent and consistant.
Maybe bring in some of the others who are sitting and waiting for a chance, instead of the same old people being used who are performing.
I say tough luck Australia blame your top side of the order.
Post 9

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who remebers what a legend he was. (or his brand of bat!)
Played the game the way a lot more do today (aggressively), but back before it was accepted. I loved to watch him bat 2 feet out of his crease and dance up the pitch to spinners.

I am. Billy Bowden's umpiring efforts were pathetic with many decisions throughout the game clearly wrong. He's been caught up in his own hysteria and it's time he stopped the hoo-ha and concentrated on his job. He currently thinks he should be less like an umpire and more like krusty the clown.
Post 20
he's also a bloody weird person when he's not umpiring, according to my credible sources
Post 21
I thought Billy was doing well as an ump. For example he made the right decision when Warnie thought the batsman had clipped the ball and was caught. On replay you could tell the sound was just the bat clipping the ground, but it would have been a hard decision on the pitch. Didnt see all of the match though, so am not sure if he screwed some decisions later on.

I was in what had to be the only pub in perth without a tv! Had to get an english buddy of mine to keep texting me the updates. Seriously thought when it was down to 9 runs to win, that we were gonna make it :(

Hayden 0 - Hayden is gonna have to improve :(
Ponting 61 - Always cleaning up after Hayden :p
Martyn 20 - Improving here I would say
Clarke 40 - Star rookie here. Will he grab ashes glory?
Katich 4 - Another aussie throwing away his wicket
