IT just freezes at about 30%, any ideas on how to fix it?

My steam platform keeps updating everyday i log in to it....... a 3 minute wait for cs 1.6 is unacceptable

just go into your steamapps i think or maybe just your normal steam folder and delete teh clientregistry.blob file and restart the update, or even during it and you should be right, i had that drama a wile ago aswell
