At least he gave his phone number... I saw something similiar a while back, 2002 Model BMW $7,000... Sale was indeed legit, the seller was moving to Europe and just wanted to get rid of the car, registration, road worthy, all documents present...

unless he is just a really rish guy who thinks its "out of date"

no road worthy doesnt mean u cant get it checked out :)

Yeah. Just means it's probably out of rego and he cbf getting new one if he's gonna sell.

Seqo, I was thinking the same thing. Those models (according to CarSales) sell for around $70,000.

The other possibility is that he can no longer afford it, and it's going to be repossed. So he will sell it, get the $7000, someone thinks they've got a great bargain, he doesn't pay up the money, and all of a sudden, your brand new car is being repossed and sold for $7000, again.

There is a hotline (thankfully) that actually tells you whether a car is stolen and/or has money owing on it. I think it's called REVS, but not sure. The NRMA would know (if anyone is really interested)

There are misprints all over Carsales... E30 BMW's like mine listed as "00,000. Drop a zero and it's all good.
