Yer, Ocarina of Time should've been number one. Or, A Link to the Past.
But HL2 before HL ?
FF7 before FF3(6)?
Super Metroid only 24?
Err...
Good to see some gems in there though: Grim Fandango, Vagrant Story, Phantasy Star IV, all the DC games etc.
Generally a reasonably good list though.

even so. its so far from the best game ever its not funny :P Zelda is close, but still not really.

Final Fantasy VII is number one in my book, and I would think a fair amount of people would agree with me.
That's not to say that it's the definitive best game ever, but I think it rates very highly in the books of a lot of gamers.
It always seems to be FFVII and Ocarina of Time duking it out for the top two in these things, both are awesome games imho.

FF7 was the bomb... Number 1 is hard one to pick when there are a lot of games from lots of different Genres and its hard to make comparisons...
